Anime Central 2007: 5/10

Good:
Cute elitist lolita girls complimented me; I'm apparently "a beast" at Naruto 4; quote- "If you're single, I'll break up with my girlfriend right now!"; We sat behind H&MC at the commencement ceremony; There were actually people in pictochat; I found a couple cute things in artist's alley; Security was better than last year; I have a new companion named OX.

Bad:
The fire marshall was being a nazi, so you had to stand in line for everything; The Soap Bubble was too spaced out because they didn't let enough people in and Steve was too tired to stay out late Saturday; I ran out of cigarettes; We didn't bring anything intoxicating, so I had to deal with how obnoxious "John" was; I was not allowed to be left alone, but Steve disappeared half the time and Joel was pretty worn out on Friday so I got stuck in the hotel room for the night; I missed the dance on Friday, couldn't see at H&MC, missed the charity ball, masquerade, and left the Soap Bubble early; My fractured foot could not handle all of the walking and standing required. For everything cool that happened there was something not cool that happened. Overall it was a very very lonely ACen.

Compared to '06 I was greatly disappointed.

ACen in 10 days!

Hotel reservations - check!
Preregistration - check!
Transportation - tentative check
Cosplay - oh shit!

So two cloaks per day for 3 days... not too bad. Joel already promised me his help for cutting out patterned cloaks. The sewing is the easy part! I hope... Those clouds look difficult, but we'll manage. We always do. Wigs are ordered. Fabric is purchased.

Now if Mikey would only stop getting evicted from everywhere, I'd have a place to sew. x_x

So those platform shoes that I love? Fuck them.

I tripped over something invisible and my foot went one way and my leg went the other. After 4 hours in the ER last night, I'm crutch ridden and I have to wear a funny shoe, that resembles a ninja sandal. We had to wait forever in the waiting room, where we got to see a bunch of drunkies who came in because they hurt themselves drunkenly.

"I was chasing pussy and I tripped on a metal wire and fucked my foot up! I want some fucking morphine!"

Teevie waited with me the whole time, even in the uncomfortable metal chair in the ER without complaining. Best bunny ever.

You know you have a cushy job when you spent the last hour just sitting on the computer without one person walking into the store. And for once I kind of wish I hadn't put out all the shipment stuff yesterday so I could have something to do today.

I've been oddly nostalgic lately and I've almost been sad that I haven't been wasting my days away getting drunk and being stupid. Actually, it all started with me going to the pet store and wanting to spontaneously buy fish... I do nothing all day long and my obligations are next to nothing - cushy job.

I don't even see most of the people who I still could. And then it hits me; perhaps I play too much World of Warcraft.

Dependency leaves me at a loss. It's as if I'm tethered by my heartstrings to his finger, the one on which he wears the ring I gave him.
